My objective is to significantly improve the knowledge and effectiveness of sales professionals at every level of their career, especially in the arena of Key and Global Accounts.

With over 30 years’ experience in sales, marketing & leadership roles in the United Kingdom, Asia and North America, I am motivated by success and in nurturing others to succeed.

I have been fortunate to work with some exceptional colleagues at Fortune 500 Information Technology companies, in roles that stretch the globe. I have trained, directed and coached many sales teams. This has contributed to my specialist knowledge in building and managing Global Accounts that deliver fantastic value, to the vendor, the customer and related partners.

As a purchaser, manager and coach for numerous commercial sales training programs over the years, I am pleased to offer as part of my portfolio, the highly-effective game-based sales training program QUOTA.

I pass on my unique perspective and experience through my weekly blog; writing on sales, leadership, marketing and related issues which deliver valuable content for sales professionals and business leaders everywhere.

My Biography

A former VP and Sales Director at major IT companies including SAS Asia, BEA Systems and Fair Isaac.

Through my consulting engagements, I have conducted coaching and training at key organizations such as, Rolls-Royce Engines, Shell, Unilever and BHP Billiton.

I have assumed a number of civil responsibilities, including National President of Junior Chamber, an officer in the Territorial Army and have represented the UK at the United Nations

I hold qualifications in Marketing and Business Administration and have been invited to undertake a PhD (Global Accounts Management) at the University of South Australia.

I am married to Caroline, A senior HR professional in New York. We have two daughters.

In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking and collecting vinyl records.
